Great for home firefighting.
I bought this for home fire protection. Fortunately, I live on a lake but plan on making a portable trailer with a 275 gallon tank for remote use. Comes with a strainer for the suction line but I put a foot valve to keep it ready though without only takes ~60 seconds to pressurize the hose. Starts on one pull every time. The 2″ suction port lifts 15′. I put 200′ of 1.5″ forestry hose and even with a simple poly nozzle I can shoot a stream up and over the top of my two story house no problem. Though I bought it for fire fighting, I’ve found all kinds of uses for it because the volume is incredible. The only downside is that with most pumps, the intake and output are 90 degrees from one another. I want to come straight off the waterline without a kink thus put a 2″ 90 degree elbow and nipple to a camlock connection for the suction line.

Second try at a preliminary review
I typed out a splendid summary of the problems I am having with my WB20XT water pump and then I lost it trying to add a photo. So, what I’m having is a problem with the pump losing prime and then reestablishing prime. This was with a pressure nozzle attached. About 15 to 20 seconds in each mode. Set up again in my back yard, without nozzle, both hoses in a large garbage can. Prime achieved in about 30 second. Water pumped strong for about 2 minutes and then lost prime, and would not resstablish. I’m not going to try adding a photo again. Note: the low ratings I entered reflect the problems I’m having. I hope to do a re-rate later.

Terrific Pump
Bought to irrigate (sprinklers and hose) from a pond 20+ feet below grade. Pump delivers all the water I could ask for, starts on the first pull, runs quietly, and simultaneously drives two rainbird sprinklers through 100′ of garden hose, even with that head.
My only negative, an oil change guarantees a big mess, as the engine oil drain opens directly onto the stand. Certainly an option to remove the pump from its stand each time (Aaagh). until I devise something better, I’m pumping the used oil out through the filler. Lousy solution. I’ll have to extend the oil drain plug. Honda may even have that ftting.
Otherwise, buy it with confidence. Use the graphs to select the power you need, account for the horizontal run, etc.

Great pump
Starts first pull. Easy prime. Runs eight garden fire sprinklers after pumping up 15 feet elevation gain and through 200 feet 1 1/2 inch Wildland fire hose through 3 wyes and 8 50 foot garden hoses. Second pump delivers easily 40 gallons a minute through 200 foot of 1 1/2 inch Wildland fire hose pumping up 15 feet elevation gain. Bought two for the homestead and planning on purchasing a third. Great value for the price.
