Very nice generator
We use the generator for power on our remote cabin. It is quiet and efficient. The one complaint I have is you eliminated the option to start the generator with a remote start button. The cell phone app is ok but not as nice for everyone to use.

Top quality super quiet EU 7000 generator.
Bought this EU 7000 for my house during storm outages. Runs everything I need, including deep well pump, I only have to go without 3 ton air-conditioner. It is so quiet I can sleep at night with a generator running nearby outside,

Always knew Honda generators are top notch !!! If you don’t know that this Honda product is worth every dollar, move on and leave Oower Generating to the Pro’s – IMUA HONDA 🤙🏾

Metal piece in oil
I changed my oil according to manufacturer recommendations and I found that there was a piece of metal, maybe a part of a bearing, in the oil. The old oil was glittery, like there are metal shavings.

Dead battery!
We were excited to finally purchase the bigger generator. We have an 2000 which has been very reliable. Unfortunately it had a dead battery. It took 3 weeks before we were able to get a new one. Not a good start.

No Mention of Floating Neutral in Manual
I bought this generator primarily for home backup power in the event that the grid goes down. I use a transfer switch connected to my main power distribution panel. I also plan to occasionally use the generator as a freestanding unit at a shed that has no power. It is my understanding that this unit has a floating neutral and that is appropriate for using with a transfer switch and main power panel. However it is also my understanding that when using it as a freestanding unit, that it must have a bonded neutral which can be done with a converter plug. It is frustrating that none of this is mentioned in the manual. Further, it would be helpful for the generator to have a switch on the control panel to switch between floating and bonded neutral as needed.
