Nice little portable generator
I purchased the Dual Fuel XP5500HX. Set up was easy and quick. I put non-ethanol gas with stabilizer in it, and charge the battery and it started on the first crank. I was impressed. I ran it on gas for a while, and then decided to see how well it would run on propane. When I switched it to propane it did not run for about two minutes. I then read through the manual and found on page 38 that this would happen. THIs definitely needs to be highlighted in the manual so owners know to expect this. On the attached tag on the generator it says to turn the fuel on, but in the manual it says turn the gas valve off. This could be very confusing to someone if they don’t check the manual. There are two reasons why I purchased this. One it has an electric start, and the biggest reason is because it has copper wire windings. I also purchased it because it is portable, and can
be moved around easily. I know it will not power my house, but it powers up what I need in an emergency.

Good Solid Generator
I bought this after the deep freeze in Texas and have had to use it a few times since. It’s a very solid unit but I’d now prefer an inverter generator for my more sensitive electronics. Overall a very good generator, it starts every time.

Ran my Sister’s House During Hurricane Helene
I installed an earlier version of this 5500W Dual Fuel Duromax at my sister’s house a few years ago. During Hurricane Helene, she was without power for almost 2 weeks. She ran the generator 3-4 hours/day to keep the fridge cold and use her microwave for mid-day meal, and only used 2 20lb tanks of propane. Everyone should have one of these great generators!!

Easy to use good on gas
Bought mine about 5 years ago power went out recently for 7 days straight generator fire right up ran refrigerator,tv,wi-fi and coffee maker.
